Aerosoft Announces Friedrichshafen Airport, X-Plane 11

Aerosoft has announced EDNY, Friedrichshafen Airport for X-Plane 11.  According to Project Manager Jan Depenbusch, the airport is being developed in concert with the recently announced Dortmund Airport, also for the X-Plane 11 platform.  See our post from June 11, 2018 to review.  The intent of this project is to create a series of smaller German airports before moving into larger scale airport developments.

Friedrichshafen Airport is a regional sized international facility located approximately 2 miles north of the town of Friedrichshafen, Germany on the banks of Lake Constance.  The airport sees commercial air service from multiple carriers including British Airways, Lufthansa, Germania, Wizz Air, and several more.

The project certainly appears to be coming along nicely and the modeling in particular looks to be well done!  This scenery offers the perfect starting location for short haul European flying.  Stay tuned for more.
