Aviotek Announces Treviso Airport for X-Plane 11

ITALY – After a long period of silence, Aviotek has announced development of LIPH, Treviso Airport for X-Plane 11. The project is a test case for the developers new two month scenery creation process which aims to complete specific tasks per a predetermined timeline with the goal of maximizing overall output.

Moreover, according to Aviotek, planned features include custom orthoimagery, seasonal textures, animated objects, detailed buildings, and “…different random versions of the apron and airport and so on.” There is currently no ETA.

Check out some preliminary modeling renders that were developed in only eleven days.

As a matter of interest, over the past months, the Aviotek team have been part of the Orbx Innsbruck X-Plane conversion process.

Lastly, with respect to the Dubai update originally noted per the 2019 project roadmap, the developer remarks, “…we are still working on it adding a lot of new features….”
