Emerald Tetiaroa Atoll Now Freeware + New Libraries

Emerald Scenery Design has transitioned the developers Tetiaroa Atoll scenery for FSX from payware to freeware.  The scenery recreates the 12 motus (small islands) atoll located in the French Polynesian Islands, approximately 37 miles from Papeete.  Released long ago, the developer clarifies the reasoning behind the transition to freeware by commenting, “Our quality and attention to detail has improved tremendously since we first began releasing scenery. Black Box Airbus 340-500, More Progress

Black Box Simulation has posted yet another preview capture with regards to the developers upcoming V.090 update.  The latest preview image showcases the Airbus 340-500, to be included as part of the widebody Prologue update.  Accompanying said image, the developer notes, “Latest WIP Shot of our New A340-500 resplendent with a brand new set of Trent 500’s”. Alabeo Cessna 421 Golden Eagle, Updated to V1.2

Alabeo has updated the developers Cessna 421 Golden Eagle for FSX and Prepar3D up to version 1.2.  The latest update brings some minor corrections with regards to the autopilot and instrument reflections.  Although there is nothing particularly major, it is always nice to see these types of incremental updates. Aerosoft Douglas DC-8 Update, FSX Compatibility

Aerosoft has released an update for the Douglas DC-8 by Michael Cependa bringing compatibility to FSX and FSX Steam Edition.  The update makes the current product version 1.03.  Originally released for Prepar3D V4 only, 32-bit support for FSX is certainly a welcome addition.  Beyond the additional platform support, no changelog information has been provided. Military Visualizations or MilViz has posted a new teaser image showcasing the instrument panel of the developers upcoming F-15C.  Accompanying the image, the developer comments, “F-15C Update: Radar coverage lines on the situation display”.  Clearly everything is progressing well and I must admit, the cockpit looks absolutely stunning!  Moreover, according to the developer, the project is to come VR ready and functional. Delta-Hotel Eurocopter EC-135 Progress

Delta-Hotel Simulations has posted several new preview captures showcasing the developers in progress Eurocopter EC-135 project.  As I understand, the full release is planned for Prepar3D V4 with a slightly less advanced version for Prepar3D V3 and FSX.  Moreover, the developer is currently focused on texture work as progress continues to push forward.  Ongoing development input has been provided by real EC-135 pilots and much of the systems work has already been completed.
