Departure Designs Announces Cyril E. King + New Orleans

US VIRGIN ISLANDS / UNITED STATES – Departure Designs has officially announced development of two new scenery projects for X-Plane 11, that being Cyril E. King Airport and Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.

First, with respect to Cyril E. King (TIST), the airport is located on the island of St. Thomas and is currently the busiest airport in the US Virgin Islands. Traffic wise, the facility handles almost 1.5 million passengers per annum.

According to the developer, the project will include not only St. Thomas but surrounding islands with high resolution custom mesh, “perfectly placed buildings,” and “precise tree lines.”

Next, in regards to New Orleans (KMSY), the airport is a busy international facility located in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, part of the New Orleans metropolitan area. The airport offers direct flights to Canada, Mexico, Central America, Europe, and throughout the Untied States.

For clarification purposes and according to the developer, the project will depict a 2020 layout (with the new terminal building).
