Departure Designs KGSP Imminent + More News

Departure Designs has posted a brief status update regarding several ongoing projects for X-Plane 11. Please allow me to briefly summarize below.

KGSP, Greenville–Spartanburg International Airport

First announced earlier this month, the package has been uploaded to the store and release is now imminent. The scenery includes an OSM patch and ZL17 ortho tile.

KMSY, Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport

The airport itself is complete although work remains in relation to the city, river, and SAM jetways. Nonetheless, New Orleans should be available “…pretty soon.”

KFNT, Bishop International Airport

Following the initial release back in late April, Departure is adding several missing buildings to the perimeter of the airport. An update should be available in one to two weeks.

KBWI, Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport

Released back in March, the team is currently smoothing and fixing mesh problems, creating an Ortho4XP patch, and implementing better masking. Once again, an update should be available in the next few weeks.

TIST, Cyril E. King and an unannounced airport project

The developer simply remarks, “It’s gonna be good guys.”
