Drzewiecki Design Chicago City, Progress

Drzewiecki Design has posted a new set of preview screenshots showcasing the developers upcoming Chicago city development for FSX and Prepar3D.  Compared to the last project preview set, the scenery has certainly made some progress forwards, see our post dated June 13, 2018 to review the aforementioned.  The cityscape project is being developed in tandem with an airport package, said airport package is expected to included up to three airports, O’Hare, Midway, and perhaps another.

Moreover, accompanying the preview images, the developer describes the project and offers some information regarding the end product, see the caption below.

Looking at these previews myself I feel even more convinced that it was a really good idea to work on this amazing city. Just imagine flying there in Extra 300, seeing your aircraft reflection on buildings, cofee tables on rooftops, all that variety of styles and colors in each block… We simply want to give you the real feel of Chicago. It seems that this is really going to be a piece-of-the-art model of the downtown area Chicago. Add specular texture, animated “L” train and high quality ground with custom mesh – you will get a really immersive experience, probably like never seen before. And probably it won’t be cheap (!) and it will definitely require few more months to complete. So… IS IT WORTH IT???

Sounds fantastic and well worth the wait!
