Drzewiecki Design Chicago City X, Released

UNITED STATES – After 15 months of development, Drzewiecki Design has released Chicago City X for FSX and Prepar3D. The scenery features a large coverage area including not only downtown Chicago but approximately 2000 square kilometres of photoreal (seasonal) coverage complete with extensive autogen, high quality watermask, and custom buildings (with high resolution textures). According to the developer, “Chicago is definitely our most detailed city scenery, in terms of how individual buildings are represented; possibly it is the most detailed flight simulator city scenery ever, but this is really hard to compare and judge.”

Moreover, with respect to performance, the developer notes, “…the performance was similar to […] the default scenery in our tests.”

Keep in mind, the scenery is intended to work seamlessly alongside the upcoming Chicago Airports X package which includes O’Hare, Midway, and Chicago Executive Airport.
