UUEE Moscow Sheremetyevo X v2 – WIP preview.
Aeroexpress Terminal’s Train Hall is quite an exceptional piece of engineering. The roof structure has an uncommon design, hence I’ve decided to model it as nicely as I could (maintaining the reasonable amount of polygons). Apparently almost every beam has been modeled and there is one real photo attached so you could compare it by yourself (note – the lights were changed to LED). Overhead train lines has obviously been modeled as well.
The interesting part is that those structural “gothic” arcs are placed not on support colums but between them. This makes the roof look very light, it seems to be hovering above the ground.
This building is very well visible from the apron next to terminal F and there will be an animated train too. There are other buildings/hangars which will have a comparable amount of details. We plan to release this V2 version in October. It will be payware but with the discount for the owners of the v1.
BTW – our 30% Labor Day Sale is still active at some vendors!
