Emerald Scenery Design Freeware Bear Island, V2.1.2

UNITED STATES – Emerald Scenery Design has released a new product update for the developers freeware Bear Island (Florida) scenery – FSX and Prepar3D. According to Emerald Scenery Design, “This is a small update adding a new ambient rain sound, new dense runway grass and making a handful of tweaks to the scenery configurator layout and functionality.”

Please see below for an update changelog.

  • Added metal roof ambient rain sound to hanger (Dynamically controlled by SODE)
  • Added configurator option for new dense runway grass.
  • Changes made to configurator options:
    • ‘Default Vector’ is now the default compatibility option instead of FTX Global.
    • ‘Tree Density’ now uses radio buttons instead of check boxes, eliminating the need to select all three boxes for maximum density.
    • Removed ‘Palmettos’ (Alongside runway) option from configurator. They now show up by default.

To review the complete update announcement or to download, see the source post via the developers website. Keep in mind, although the scenery is freeware, donations are appreciated.

In other news, back in January, the developer also updated the freeware Solomon Islands X scenery package
