Maps2XPlane Antarctica XP Part 3 Available Now, Freeware

Maps2XPlane has officially released Antarctica4XPlane Part 3 for X-Plane 11.  The scenery is offered completely free of charge and includes Coats Land and the western parts of Queen Maud Land, down to -81 degrees.  For those unfamiliar with the Antarctica4XPlane scenery project, the multi part series features detailed mesh complemented by airfields, base camps, and research stations.

According to the developer and with respect to design challenges, “Creating a Antarctica Mesh Scenery is a quite difficult and time-consuming task.  That’s due to missing or not accurate data in the public domain.  Many parts of this mesh scenery were modeled by hand, and a lot of passion went into this project.”
