MilViz Northrop T-38C Talon, Bomb Scoring

MilViz has published a new preview image showcasing continued instrumentation progress with regards to the developers Northrop T-38C Talon for FSX and Prepar3D.  Specifically, the latest preview image offers a peek at the aircraft bomb scoring system.  According to the developer, “T-38C No Drop Bomb Scoring system.”

For those unfamiliar with the technical workings of the system, MilViz Systems Programmer Jonathan Bleeker explains via the Facebook comments section, “Score = impact distance in feet and direction relative to release heading.  Aim score is same values but represents the point aimed at during a delayed CCIP release.  REL SCORE is the difference between the two points.  For instant CCIP and CCRP releases, aim and score are the same.”

Check out the image below.

To review the original preview image as well as accompanying commentary, see the source post via the developers Facebook page.  If you’d like to learn more about MilViz, visit the developers website.

Early last month, the developer offered a similar preview relating to the SIT page, see our post dated November 6, 2018 for more information.
