Aerosoft discusses future of Airbus and CRJ series

Mathijs Kok of Aerosoft has posted some new information concerning the future of the Airbus/CRJ series. Basically, Aerosoft has become increasingly disappointed with P3DV4 and the incomplete graphics engine. Alternatively, MSFS 2020 looks to be extremely promising and Microsoft is particularly supportive of third party developers. Accordingly, Aerosoft will not develop new builds of the narrowbody Airbus series for P3DV4 – instead, expect smaller updates. However, Aerosoft will start developing the Airbus/CRJ for MSFS 2020. Flight Replicas B-24 progress shots

A couple new preview images by Flight Replicas showcasing the upcoming B-24 Liberator for FSX and P3D. The screenshots highlight the exterior model as well as cockpit detail. Keep in mind, the package is expected to include several models including one version depicting the aircraft around the time of the Ploesti raids, a standard European Theatre layout, and the C-87 transport derivative. Alabeo C170B updated to V1.1

First released just last week, Alabeo has already (as expected) posted a new product update for the C170B – X-Plane 11. The update features fixed rudder behaviour, a fixed turn coordinator, improved fuel burn rate, and various other minor bug fixes. PMDG 737 NGXu update and expansion delayed

Looks like the PMDG 737 NGXu update as well as the highly anticipated expansion pack (600/700) have been delayed. You may recall, release was originally planned for today but things have shifted. According to Robert Randazzo, “Unfortunately, my schedule changed and I have been called out to fly a three-day trip.” As such, “it is likely we will simply hold until a week from Wednesday.” Basically, not happening for this coming weekend. Just Flight Airbus A300 is ‘progressing nicely’

The development team at Just Flight have posted a brief status update and some new preview renders concerning the in progress Airbus A300. Perhaps most important, the project is “progressing nicely.” Moreover, in regard to the actual renders, Just Flight remarks, “Here are some development pics just to show the application of panel lines/rivets.” To the best of our knowledge, the aircraft is planned for both Prepar3D and X-Plane 11. Flysimware Falcon 50 updated to V1.9C

The team at Flysimware have posted a new product update for the Dassault Falcon 50. The update brings the software up to V1.9C and features several additions and improvements. Items of note include a taxi light limitation for gear down only, approximately 75 major switches and parking modes can now be saved, corrected glideslope captures issues, and improved RXP GTN750 integration. Still more VSkyLabs R66 previews

Once again, VSkyLabs has posted some new preview images showcasing ongoing development progress with respect to the Robinson R66 for X-Plane 11. According to VSkyLabs, the images illustrate the two-state position fuel cutoff guard. When installed, the fuel cutoff cannot be adjusted. Looking good so far, stay tuned. Eagle Rotorcraft Bell 505 JRX is also coming to XP11

Over the past week or so, we’ve posted on several occasions regarding the Eagle Rotorcraft Bell 505 Jet Ranger X for FSX and P3DV4. However, today in a brief announcement, the team further announced that the helicopter is also coming to X-Plane 11 thanks (to Thomas Woods). Great news for all. Development progress – CentralSim Aguadilla

UNITED STATES – CentralSim has posted several new preview images showcasing ongoing development progress with respect to Aguadilla’s Rafael Hernández Airport (TJBQ). No detailed description was provided. Still very much WIP. LIBYA – First Kenya and Senegal, now Libya. Iain Emms has once again posted some new preview images showcasing Orbx Global openLC Africa for FSX and P3D. Runway 26 announces Puerto Plata

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – Runway 26 Simulations has announced development of Puerto Plata’s Gregorio Luperón International Airport (MDPP) for X-Plane 11. The project is aleady quite advanced. PrealSoft HD Cities Brussels now available

BELGIUM – PrealSoft has released HD Cities Brussels for FSX and P3DV4. The scenery features the entire city of Brussels complete with high definition aerial imagery, custom buildings, and representative autogen.
