Orbx has announced NZGS, Gisborne Airport for FSX and Prepar3D. The scenery by Finni Hansen is to include not only the airport itself but the entire city of Gisborne. Located on the east coast of New Zealand’s North Island, the area is known for wineries and surf beaches.
Already in a very advanced stage of development, release is “coming soon” according to Aimee Sanjari of Orbx. Check out a selection of preview images below.

The airport is a relatively small regional facility with commercial air service by Air New Zealand and Sunair. Notably, the Palmerston North-Gisborne railway line actually runs across the main runway.
