Following the creation of official Twitter and YouTube accounts this summer, Orbx are pleased to announce they are making the leap to Twitch later this year. Sponsored by flight simulation PC specialists Jetline Systems, the livestreams will consist of scenery and airport previews and competitions  as well as news on upcoming projects and events.

This is an initiative I’ve always wanted to do”, said CEO John Venema. “To be able to interact and showcase our ongoing product development with customers and also provide other additional content about the staff and company is incredibly exciting for us”

The official Orbx streams will be hosted by Marketing & Community Manager Aimee Sanjari and flight simulation streamer and influencer Brenden Quinn (aka Dirkadurka). Brenden has been simmer for 13 years and streaming for 6. He covers both Prepar3D and X-Plane making him ideal to help showcase the latest and greatest Orbx releases.

“It was a no-brainer”, added Aimee. “There is no better way to us to regularly interact with our audience than via streaming. It’s a great opportunity to give everyone better visibility on projects that we are working on while engaging with the flight simulation community. I’m immensely looking forward to co-hosting with Brenden – we’re going to have a lot of fun!”

The first Orbx Twitch stream is currently scheduled for late October. You can follow the official Orbx twitch channel at twitch.tv/orbxsystems
