Orbx Monument Valley, X-Plane 11

Originally announced and previewed as a standalone project by Frank Dainese and Fabio Bellini, the scenery is now to be distributed via Orbx.  The project jointly known as Monument Valley or Navajo Tribal Park is a compete remake of the original FSX and Prepar3D version.

Earlier this month, the team released a preview video showcasing the project, see our post from June 10, 2018 to review.  According to the most recent announcement, the package is to encompass 21 3D models of primary peaks derived from DEM data and finished with 4K textures.  Moreover, as previously disclosed, the scenery is to include UT25, Monument Valley Airport and 4 helipads, that being Monument Valley Airport, the View Hotel, Oljato and John Ford Point.

Another quality high team returning to the Orbx ecosystem, both Turbulent Designs and iBlueYonder have made similar decisions as of late.

This one is certainly looking absolutely fantastic, the perfect location for both fixed wing exploration and helicopter operations.  Stay tuned for more, additional screenshots are expected this week.
