There is certainly still a significant market for FSX compatible aircraft and sceneries despite much of the recent push towards exclusive Prepar3D V4 content. This trend has much to do with memory allocation capabilities between the 32-bit and 64-bit platforms and becomes a necessity as third party software additions become increasingly complex. Nonetheless, in many cases, all platforms can be accommodated.
According to a Facebook post dated May 9, 2018, the developer notes “major demand” with regards to an FSX compatible version of the scenery.

Looks very good, Pacific Islands Simulation really does some excellent work and this scenery is no different.
