PilotEdge Introduces Integrated ATIS System

PilotEdge has officially launched the highly anticipated integrated ATIS system.  According to a post via Facebook, “PilotEdge now offers fully integrated ATIS broadcasts for supported towered airports.  Pilots can receive up to date weather and critical flight planning information on published ATIS frequencies via the radio, including the runways & approaches in use and information on runway closures.”

Moreover and in addition, PilotEdge is making it easier to fly with custom weather.  Specifically, users can now report information ZULU as a way to inform controllers of custom weather.  Moreover, there is a new ‘custom weather’ check box included as part of the web based flight planning form.
