PMDG, New Store Now Live + Birthday Sale

After a somewhat lengthy transition, the team at PMDG have launched the new store and eCommerce system. The transition was completed successfully and all user information + purchase history has been ported.

Moreover, today marks the 22nd birthday of PMDG and as such, the developer is offering a 22% discount on all purchases until August 14, 2019.

Please see below for the complete announcement by Robert Randazzo of PMDG.

Captains,

We have just opened the new PMDG.com store, and we are happy to be back up and running after a lengthy transition. Our previous shop was in operation since October 2004 and as part of this transition we felt it was important to bring all of the user data and purchase history over to the new system in order to provide you with a seamless transition to a more modern, more capable system that will support the next 14 years of our operation.

The new system is entirely cloud based, which means we should get through the next releases without the usual drama… and we are looking forward to test driving that capability very soon!

Speaking of test driving: Today just happens to be PMDG’s 22nd birthday. So to celebrate the opening of our new PMDG.com store *and* our 22nd birthday, we are throwing you a once-in-a-lifetime sale where everything at PMDG.com is 22% off the list-price.

This will run through 14AUG19 and doesn’t require you to remember any coupon codes or special passwords. Just jump over to PMDG.com and get whatever you like. We will lop off 22% of the purchase price at the end of the transaction. (How happy are we to finally make the transition to our new system? PMDG has never run a sale. That is how happy we are. It is unlikely we ever will again, so don’t let this opportunity pass you by!)

Special Notams about the new PMDG.com:

We brought all of your account data and history: It took nearly six months, but we have ported all of your account data and history from our old store and brought it to the new one. We have all records dating back as far as October 2004 included in the new PMDG.com and when you log into your account you should find everything right there where you left it.

Look down near the bottom right of the page to log in: The link to access your account is down near the bottom of the page on the right side. Click there and you should be able to figure out the rest.

You will need to create a new password: In any move of this magnitude, revamping security is important. To access your account you will need to create a new password. The system will guide you through the process. If you are unable to make it work, please reach out to our Customer Support Team and we will see what we can do to help you.

Downloading your purchases is easier than ever and now uses two-factor-authorization: We have an entirely new download process that should be faster and easier than ever for you to use. It does include the use of two-factor-authorization for additional security and the pop-ups will walk you through exactly what to do.

The PMDG World is moving to PMDG.com: After 22 years, we are finally moving our entire operation to PMDG.com. Our main website is now PMDG.com, our forum is forum.PMDG.com and in the coming days you will notice that support.precisionmanuals.com will be accessed via support.PMDG.com. This move should be largely effortless for you, but we thought you’d like to know ahead of time.

Thanks for your patience while we make all of these moves. We are doing our best to ensure the transition is effortless for you and we hope you like the modern new tools we are bringing on line.
