Check out the newly released preview captures below.
Personally, I love the concept of both a current and historical airport configuration option! I’m a massive fan of almost all things retro.
In addition to the preview images, the developer offers some historical information regarding Terminal 2 at KCVG, Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport.
Cramped and outdated, KCVG’s Terminal 2 saw use until it’s closure in 2012. In it’s prime, Terminal 2 served many airlines including American and United, as well as international carriers like Lufthansa. Arguably one of the most unique terminal structures that’s served air travel, Terminal 2 is brought to you with a stunning array of ground clutter, specific to American Airlines and their regional carrier PSA. Included below is a shot of Terminal 2’s interior – A relic of KCVG dating back to before the construction of Terminal 3 and Concourses A, B, and C.
This is certainly turning out to be a very interesting project, stay tuned for more details!
