First announced earlier this month, TorqueSim has posted a new development update concerning the Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander for X-Plane 11. The update features the Vieques Air Link livery and further includes the first interior/cockpit shots.
According to Ulrich Oetzel of TorqueSim, the aircraft will feature a full set of circuit breakers with accurate amperages, a powerful custom-coded electrical system, KFC 225 autopilot, and Garmin-like transponder. Moreover, whilst the screenshots depict the steam gauge version, the team is also testing a separate version utilizing AFM’s G5 instrumentation.
