Developer VSkyLabs has posted a new teaser image, brief status update, and general summary regarding the upcoming Flight Design CTLS for X-Plane 11. Perhaps most important, the project is still on track for a late July release. Please see below for the complete statement as posted via Facebook.
The VSKYLABS Flight Design CTLS Project News Flash! – Here is a recent screenshot which was taken couple of days ago. As the project is in practice really close to being ready for initial release…interior design, modeling and texturing effort is being pushed extensively. The (real) CTLS is a sleek, modern flying machine, and the VSKYLABS CTLS is designed inside-out with a clean, sharp, sports car look-and-feel.
Here is a short reminder for this project’s major highlights:
*It is designed for use with X-Plane 11.30+ cutting edge Experimental flight model environment, having superb flight dynamics with authentic performance and flight handling characteristics.
*It is 100% VR compatible…if fact it was tailored specifically for VR!
*Like all VSKYLABS projects, it is engineered and designed as a default X-Plane aircraft. The VSKYLABS projects are practically show-casing X-Plane, as they are stretching X-Plane default features, systems and flight model to maximum…delivering a very robust simulation model, with maximum X-Plane development ‘Earth-Quakes’ endurance.
*The VSL CTLS is featuring the standard, basic CT VFR + night pack panel. The simple and clear analog gauges layout is perfect for beginner pilots. It is also featuring an enhanced panel, which is including the addition of a notebook-based glass PFD along with a Dynon style AP74 and HS34 (these are incorporated with simplified, yet functional features).
*Active VSKYLABS support forum (at the X-Plane.org forums and VSKYLABS formus)…perfect for professional discussions which results in incorporating users feedback into the on-going scheduled development plan. Real-pilots inputs (as well as sim-pilots feedback) is always welcome, and in practice sets the thel VSKYLABS projects within solid, professional margins.
Project release is aimed for the end of July 2019…give or take a few days…It’s close…so stay tuned!

Keep in mind, the Flight Design CTSW is also currently under development although the aircraft is being treated as a separate project.
