VSkyLabs Mini 500, Ongoing Progress

VSkyLabs has posted a new teaser image and brief progress update concerning the developers upcoming Revolution Mini 500 for X-Plane 11.

Perhaps most important, the project is now considered part of the developers ‘Test Pilot’ product series.  According to VSkyLabs and with respect to the ‘Test Pilot’ classification, “Well… it means that several aspects of helicopter flying (and the Mini-500 flying in particular) are being demonstrated and highlighted, and are part of the flying experience by definition: manual engine/rotor rpm management, low rotor-inertia aspects, in-flight nose tuck during engine-stop, rotor RPM management, retreating blade stall condition (Vne) and more.”

Shortly thereafter, the developer elaborates further, “The VSKYLABS Test-Pilot: Mini-500 is designed as if it was a real kit-built helicopter, awaiting for it’s first test-flight.  Was it built exactly as instructed?  Will it fly as expected?”

Anyways, check out the latest teaser image below.
